Biography of Michael N. Kihm:
Founder and Managing Director of Drawbridge Insurance Services LLC and the TechRisks.com program.
Michael has an extensive professional and technology liability underwriting background. He joined CNA
Insurance Company in 1994 as a managed care professional and directors and officer’s liability underwriter. In
1997, Michael joined the National Union Fire Insurance Company underwriting numerous professional liability
classes of business. Michael was promoted to the position of Senior Underwriter, eventually becoming an
Underwriting Specialist who focused on Technology and Cyber Liability products. He successfully underwrote a
number of Fortune 500 technology corporations and their technology related exposures.
Michael is a graduate of Drexel University, where he obtained both his undergraduate and Masters of Business
Administration Degrees. While at Drexel, Michael received the Botstiber Award for Entrepreneurial Activity after
authoring a business plan for network security. He is a board member of DRUMS (the Digital Risk Underwriting
Management Society) and a general member of PLUS (Professional Liability Underwriting Society).
